Auch heuer organisieren wir wieder 3 geführte Touren während der European Bike Week. Es würde uns freuen, wenn wir dich bei der einen oder anderen Tour begrüßen dürfen.
Die 3 Touren sind so geplant, dass wir dir möglichst viel von Kärnten und unseren Nachbarländern Italien und Slowenien zeigen können. Die Teilnahme an den Touren ist kostenlos. Die Teilnehmerzahl ist auf 100 Bikes beschränkt.

Vier-Täler-Tour
Erlebe eine Fahrt durch vier der schönsten Täler Kärntens, wo kurvenreiche Straßen, kristallklare Seen und beeindruckende Berglandschaften zu einem unvergesslichen Tourenerlebnis verschmelzen.
Unsere Tour beginnt in Faak am See. Mit dem markanten Dobratsch stets am Horizont führt die Strecke über Arnoldstein in das Künstlerdorf Nötsch im Gailtal. Wer nach der Tour bei seinem Aufenthalt noch etwas Zeit hat, sollte unbedingt das Museum des Nötscher Kreises besuchen, das in der historischen Bäckerei Wiegele untergebracht ist. Es ist ein wahrer Geheimtipp, der Kunst, Geschichte und Kärntner Tradition auf einzigartige Weise verbindet.
Weiter geht es durch das Gailtal bis in die Bezirkshauptstadt Hermagor. Zu unserer linken Seite erhebt sich das bekannte Schigebiet Nassfeld in den Karnischen Alpen. Im Winter zählt es zu den beliebtesten Destinationen Österreichs, während es sich im Sommer in eines der schönsten Wandergebiete des Landes verwandelt.
Hinter Hermagor biegen wir in das idyllische Gitschtal ein. Auf unserem Weg passieren wir den Naturpark Weißensee. Eingebettet in eine nahezu unberührte Alpenlandschaft gilt der Weißensee als einer der schönsten Seen Kärntens. Mit kleineren Motorradgruppen (aufgrund der Straße, die hier im Ort endet), ist jederzeit ein Ausflug zu empfehlen. Anschließend erreichen wir Greifenburg im Drautal. Hier bleibt genügend Zeit zum Tanken, um sich die Beine zu vertreten und bei einer guten Tasse Kaffee neue Energie für den nächsten Abschnitt der Tour zu sammeln.
Von dort folgen wir dem Drautal in Richtung Millstätter See und erreichen Seeboden. Unsere Mittagspause verbringen wir im wunderschönen Blumenpark direkt am Seeufer. Mehrere Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe laden dazu ein, regionale Spezialitäten zu genießen.
Am Nachmittag führt uns die Strecke über das Millstätter Plateau – eine beeindruckende Hochterrasse oberhalb des Nordufers des Millstätter Sees. Harmonische Kurven und herrliche Ausblicke machen diesen Abschnitt zu einem der landschaftlichen Höhepunkte der Tour, bevor wir über Döbriach nach Radenthein hinunterfahren.
Schon bald erreichen wir das reizvolle Gegendtal, das sich auf rund 15 Kilometern von Feld am See bis Treffen erstreckt und von den sanften Gipfeln der Nockberge eingerahmt wird. Der smaragdgrüne Brennsee und der Afritzer See verleihen dem Tal seinen unverwechselbaren Charakter. Beide Seen laden zum Schwimmen, zu verschiedensten Wassersportarten oder einfach zum Entspannen am Ufer ein. Und wer die regionale Küche schätzt, sollte sich die fangfrischen Fische aus diesen Gewässern nicht entgehen lassen – sie zählen zu den kulinarischen Besonderheiten der Region.
Der letzte Abschnitt unserer Tour führt uns über Villach zurück nach Faak am See.

Four Valleys Tour
Experience a ride through four of Carinthia’s most scenic valleys, where winding roads, crystal-clear lakes, and breathtaking mountain landscapes combine to create an unforgettable touring experience.
Our journey begins in Faak am See. With the impressive Dobratsch Mountain dominating the skyline, we ride through Arnoldstein to the artists’ village of Nötsch in the Gail Valley. If time permits after the ride, art enthusiasts should visit the Museum of the Nötsch Circle, beautifully housed in the historic Wiegele Bakery. It is a hidden gem that perfectly blends culture, history, and local tradition.
Continuing through the Gail Valley, we reach the district capital of Hermagor. To our left, the renowned Nassfeld mountain resort rises in the Carnic Alps. Famous for its excellent skiing in winter, it transforms into one of Austria’s premier hiking destinations during the summer.
Leaving Hermagor behind, we turn into the peaceful Gitsch Valley. Along the way, we pass the Weißensee Nature Park. Nestled in untouched alpine scenery, Lake Weißensee is widely considered one of Carinthia’s most beautiful lakes. Smaller motorcycle groups are highly recommended to make the short detour to the lake, as the road ends in the village and is particularly enjoyable to ride.
Our route continues to Greifenburg in the Drau Valley, where there is time to refuel, stretch our legs, and enjoy a well-earned coffee break before the next section of the tour.
From there, we follow the Drau Valley towards Lake Millstatt, arriving in Seeboden. Our lunch stop is at the beautiful Flower Park directly on the lakeshore, where several nearby restaurants offer an excellent choice of regional cuisine.
The afternoon ride takes us across the Millstatt Plateau, a magnificent natural terrace overlooking the northern shore of Lake Millstatt. Sweeping curves and stunning panoramic views make this one of the highlights of the day before we descend through Döbriach to Radenthein.
Soon we enter the charming Gegend Valley, stretching for around 15 kilometres from Feld am See to Treffen and surrounded by the gentle peaks of the Nock Mountains. The emerald-green waters of Lake Brennsee and Lake Afritz give the valley its unmistakable character. Both lakes invite visitors to swim, enjoy water sports, or simply relax by the shore. And for those who appreciate local cuisine, the freshly caught fish from these lakes is a true culinary highlight.
Our final stretch takes us through Villach and back to Faak am See.

Tour delle Quattro Valli
Vivi un itinerario attraverso quattro delle valli più belle della Carinzia, dove strade ricche di curve, laghi dalle acque cristalline e spettacolari paesaggi alpini si fondono in un’esperienza motociclistica indimenticabile.
Il nostro tour inizia a Faak am See. Con l’imponente Dobratsch sempre all’orizzonte, il percorso attraversa Arnoldstein fino a raggiungere Nötsch im Gailtal, il rinomato paese degli artisti. Se dopo il tour hai ancora un po‘ di tempo a disposizione, vale assolutamente la pena visitare il Museo del Circolo di Nötsch, ospitato nello storico panificio Wiegele. È un vero gioiello nascosto che unisce arte, storia e tradizione carinziana in modo unico.
Si prosegue poi lungo il Gailtal fino a Hermagor, capoluogo del distretto. Alla nostra sinistra si apre la vista sul celebre comprensorio sciistico di Nassfeld, nelle Alpi Carniche. In inverno è una delle mete più amate dell’Austria, mentre in estate si trasforma in una delle più affascinanti aree escursionistiche del Paese.
Superata Hermagor, svoltiamo nell’idilliaca Gitschtal. Lungo il percorso costeggiamo il Parco Naturale del Weissensee. Immerso in un paesaggio alpino quasi incontaminato, il Weissensee è considerato uno dei laghi più belli della Carinzia. Per i gruppi motociclistici più piccoli (poiché la strada termina nel paese) è sempre consigliabile una deviazione fino al lago. Successivamente raggiungiamo Greifenburg, nella valle della Drava. Qui ci sarà tempo per fare rifornimento, sgranchirsi le gambe e gustare un buon caffè prima di affrontare la parte successiva del tour.
Da qui seguiamo la valle della Drava in direzione del lago di Millstatt, fino a raggiungere Seeboden. La pausa pranzo è prevista nel suggestivo Blumenpark, direttamente sulle rive del lago. Diversi ristoranti nelle immediate vicinanze invitano ad assaporare le specialità tipiche della regione.
Nel pomeriggio il percorso attraversa l’altopiano di Millstatt, una spettacolare terrazza naturale situata sopra la sponda settentrionale del lago. Curve armoniose e panorami mozzafiato rendono questo tratto uno dei momenti più emozionanti dell’intero itinerario, prima della discesa attraverso Döbriach fino a Radenthein.
Poco dopo entriamo nell’incantevole Gegendtal, che si estende per circa 15 chilometri da Feld am See fino a Treffen, incorniciata dalle dolci cime dei monti Nockberge. Il verde smeraldo del Brennsee e dell’Afritzer See conferisce a questa valle un fascino inconfondibile. Entrambi i laghi invitano a fare il bagno, praticare numerosi sport acquatici oppure semplicemente rilassarsi sulle loro rive. E chi ama la buona cucina non dovrebbe lasciarsi sfuggire il pesce fresco di queste acque, una delle autentiche specialità gastronomiche della regione.

Genuss-Tour nach San Daniele
Die Tour mit dem italienischen Flair! Ausgehend von Faak führt die reizvolle Italientour zuerst nach Tarvis. Leider bleibt uns keine Zeit, um am beliebten Tarviser Markt handeln und einkaufen zu können. Die Stadt, im italienisch-österreichisch-slowenischen Dreiländereck gelegen, erhält durch seine kulturelle Durchmischung einen besonderen Charme. Von Tarvis führt die Tour durch das Kanaltal zum viersprachigen Ort Malborghetto Valbruna am Ufer der Fella. Hier wäre ein idealer Startpunkt für eine Wanderung in die Julischen Alpen. Über Pontebba und Chiusaforte fahren wir weiter nach Venzone. Venzone wurde im Mai 1976 durch ein Erdbeben beinahe vollständig zerstört. Es gelang jedoch, aus sämtlichen Trümmern den Ort wieder in seiner ursprünglichen Form aufzubauen und er gilt heute sicherlich als einer der schönsten Orte des Kanaltals. Über Gemona del Friuli, am Flusslauf des Tagliamento gelegen, geht es weiter nach San Daniele del Friuli. Wir sind nun im Herkunftsort des weltberühmten DOP San Daniele Schinkens. Die jahrhundertelange Tradition der Herstellung und das besondere Klima geben dem Schinken den einmaligen charakteristischen Geschmack. Hier werden wir eine gemütliche Pause einlegen, wo wir die Möglichkeit haben, diesen besonderen Schinken zu genießen. Von hier geht es wieder zurück nach Tarvis, wo wir nun aber die Abzweigung nach Slowenien nehmen. Die Straße führt uns vorbei an der beeindruckenden Schifluganlage von Planica und wir gelangen zum bekannten Schiweltcuport Kranjska Gora. Bevor wir über den Wurzenpass wieder nach Kärnten gelangen, besteht in Rateče noch die Möglichkeit zu tanken. Der Wurzenpass galt in der Vergangenheit als einer der wichtigsten Pässe über die Karawanken nach Slowenien. Wir kommen nun wieder zum Ausgangspunkt unserer Tour, in der Genuss, Natur, Kultur und Biken zu einer Einheit verschmolzen werden.

Italian Flair Tour
Experience a ride where breathtaking alpine scenery, Italian culture, and legendary motorcycle roads come together to create an unforgettable Harley-Davidson adventure.
Starting from Faak am See, our journey first takes us across the border to Tarvisio, Italy. Unfortunately, there won’t be enough time to explore the famous Tarvisio Market, renowned for its lively atmosphere and excellent shopping opportunities. Located at the unique meeting point of Italy, Austria, and Slovenia, Tarvisio combines three cultures, giving the town its distinctive charm.
From Tarvisio, we follow the scenic Canal Valley to the multilingual village of Malborghetto Valbruna, situated on the banks of the Fella River. Surrounded by the majestic Julian Alps, this charming village is a popular starting point for hikers and nature lovers alike.
Continuing through Pontebba and Chiusaforte, we arrive in the medieval town of Venzone. Nearly destroyed by the devastating earthquake of May 1976, Venzone was painstakingly rebuilt stone by stone using the original remains. Today, it stands proudly as one of the most beautiful and best-preserved historic towns in the region—a remarkable example of determination and cultural heritage.
Our ride continues through Gemona del Friuli, beautifully situated along the Tagliamento River, before reaching San Daniele del Friuli, the birthplace of the world-famous Prosciutto di San Daniele DOP. Thanks to centuries of craftsmanship and the region’s unique microclimate, this celebrated cured ham has earned worldwide recognition for its exceptional flavour.
Here we take a relaxing break, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy this famous local delicacy and experience authentic Italian hospitality.
After lunch, we retrace our route towards Tarvisio before turning east into Slovenia. The road leads us past the spectacular Planica Nordic Centre, home to one of the world’s largest ski jumping hills, before reaching the famous Alpine resort of Kranjska Gora, well known for hosting FIS Alpine Ski World Cup races.
Before crossing the Wurzen Pass back into Austria, there is an opportunity to refuel in Rateče. For centuries, the Wurzen Pass has been one of the most important crossings through the Karawanks between Austria and Slovenia. Today, it offers riders an exciting mountain road with sweeping curves and magnificent views.
Our journey finally returns to Faak am See—a tour where Italian lifestyle, Alpine scenery, rich history, outstanding cuisine, and the freedom of riding come together in one unforgettable experience.

Tour del Gusto a San Daniele
Il tour dal sapore tutto italiano!
Con partenza da Faak am See, questo affascinante itinerario ci conduce innanzitutto a Tarvisio. Purtroppo il tempo a disposizione non ci permetterà di visitare il famoso mercato cittadino, rinomato per lo shopping. Situata al confine tra Italia, Austria e Slovenia, Tarvisio conquista con il suo carattere cosmopolita e il perfetto incontro tra culture diverse.
Da Tarvisio il percorso prosegue attraverso la Val Canale fino a Malborghetto-Valbruna, suggestivo paese quadrilingue adagiato sulle rive del torrente Fella. Da qui partono numerosi itinerari escursionistici verso le spettacolari Alpi Giulie.
Attraversando Pontebba e Chiusaforte raggiungiamo Venzone, uno dei borghi medievali più affascinanti del Friuli Venezia Giulia. Quasi completamente distrutto dal terremoto del maggio 1976, il paese è stato ricostruito pietra su pietra, recuperando ogni elemento originale. Oggi rappresenta uno degli esempi più straordinari di ricostruzione storica ed è considerato uno dei gioielli della Val Canale.
Il viaggio continua attraverso Gemona del Friuli, sulle rive del fiume Tagliamento, fino ad arrivare a San Daniele del Friuli, patria del celebre **Prosciutto di San Daniele DOP**, conosciuto e apprezzato in tutto il mondo. Secoli di tradizione artigianale e un microclima unico conferiscono a questo prosciutto il suo inconfondibile sapore. Qui ci concederemo una piacevole sosta con la possibilità di degustare questa autentica eccellenza gastronomica italiana.
Dopo la pausa riprendiamo la strada in direzione di Tarvisio, dove imbocchiamo il percorso verso la Slovenia. Costeggiando l’imponente complesso dei trampolini di volo di Planica raggiungiamo Kranjska Gora, celebre località di Coppa del Mondo di sci alpino.
Prima di rientrare in Carinzia attraverso il Wurzenpass, sarà possibile effettuare un rifornimento di carburante a Rateče. In passato questo passo rappresentava uno dei più importanti collegamenti tra Austria e Slovenia attraverso la catena delle Caravanche.
Infine, faremo ritorno a Faak am See, punto di partenza del nostro itinerario, dopo una giornata in cui gastronomia, natura, cultura e passione per la moto si fondono in un’unica esperienza indimenticabile.

Natur Tour
Eine angenehme und entspannende Tour durch die Regionen Mittel- und Unterkärntens. Auf rund 215 km erlebt ihr die Schönheiten und Vorteile des Bikens in Kärnten. Ausgehend vom Faaker See führt die Route entlang des Ossiacher Sees nach Ossiach, dem Austragungsort des Carinthischen Sommers mit exzellenten kulturellen Veranstaltungen. An der drittgrößten historischen Wehranlage Kärntens, der Burg Glanegg mit ihren Weingärten vorbei, geht es über Feldkirchen nach St. Veit/Glan.
St. Veit/Glan mit seiner bezaubernden Altstadt war bis 1518 die Landeshauptstadt von Kärnten. Nach der imposanten Felsenburg Hochosterwitz, ein Wahrzeichen Kärntens, geht es weiter nach Brückl und von hier über eine sehr gut ausgebaute Straße nach Diex [Aussprache: diːɛks ] auf 1159 m Seehöhe. Mit durchschnittlich 2300 Sonnenstunden pro Jahr hat Diex den Ruf, die sonnenreichste Gemeinde Österreichs zu sein. Von hier gibt es einen beeindruckenden Blick über Kärnten. Nach dem Berg kommt wieder die Schönheit der Ebene. Über Haimburg, an der Felsenburg Heunburg vorüber, fahren wir nach Völkermarkt. Hier besteht die Möglichkeit die Tanks der Bikes wieder aufzufüllen. Die Tour führt nun weiter über Eberndorf und Sittersdorf, am Gösselsdorfer See vorbei, nach Eisenkappel. Der Kur- und Luftkurort Eisenkappel ist der südlichste Ort Österreichs an der Grenze zu Slowenien. Von hier aus kommen wir in die sagenumwobene Trögener Klamm, eine etwa 3 km lange landschaftlich und geologisch beeindruckende Schlucht. Südlich des Hochobirs überqueren wir den Alpenpass Schaidasattel und kommen anschließend nach Zell Pfarre. Zell Pfarre ist umrahmt von Bergen und somit idealer Ausgangspunkt für alpine Wanderungen. Entlang der von Bikern geschätzte Waidischer Landesstraße erreichen wir die Büchsenmacherstadt Ferlach. Durch das sonnige Rosental führt die Route über Feistritz und Sankt Jakob entlang der Drau zurück zum Faaker See. Eine unvergessliche Tour, die die landschaftliche Schönheit und Vielfalt Kärntens zeigt, liegt nun hinter euch.

Nature Tour
Discover the peaceful beauty of Central and Southern Carinthia on a relaxed ride through one of Austria’s most scenic motorcycle regions. Covering approximately 213 kilometres, this tour perfectly combines sweeping roads, panoramic mountain views, charming historic towns, and the freedom that only riding a Harley-Davidson can offer.
Leaving Faak am See, we follow the shores of Lake Ossiach towards the picturesque village of Ossiach, home of the renowned Carinthian Summer Festival, one of Austria’s leading cultural events featuring world-class music and performances.
Our route continues past Glanegg Castle, the third-largest medieval fortress in Carinthia, surrounded by picturesque vineyards, before leading us through Feldkirchen to the historic town of St. Veit an der Glan.
Until 1518, St. Veit served as the capital of the province of Carinthia. Its beautifully preserved old town still reflects centuries of history and is one of the cultural highlights of the region.
Soon afterwards, the impressive Hochosterwitz Castle comes into view. Perched dramatically on a 160-metre-high dolomite rock, this iconic fortress is one of Austria’s most spectacular castles and an unmistakable symbol of Carinthia.
From Brückl, a well engineered mountain road takes us to Diex [pronounced: diːɛks ], situated at an elevation of 1,159 metres above sea level. With an average of around 2,300 hours of sunshine each year, Diex proudly holds the reputation of being one of Austria’s sunniest communities. The breathtaking panoramic views across Carinthia make this one of the most rewarding sections of the entire tour.
After enjoying the mountain scenery, the route descends into the valley once again. Passing Haimburg and the historic Heunburg Castle, we continue to Völkermarkt, where there is an opportunity to refuel before the next stage of the journey.
The ride continues through Eberndorf and Sittersdorf, passing the tranquil Lake Gösselsdorf, before reaching the spa town of Bad Eisenkappel, Austria’s southernmost town on the Slovenian border.
From here, the road enters the legendary Trögern Gorge, a spectacular three-kilometre canyon known for its impressive geological formations and untouched natural beauty. South of Mount Hochobir, we cross the scenic Schaidasattel Pass, one of Carinthia’s hidden gems, before arriving in Zell Pfarre, a picturesque alpine village surrounded by magnificent mountain scenery and popular with hikers throughout the summer.
The journey continues along the winding Waidisch Country Road, one of the favourite motorcycle roads in southern Carinthia. Flowing curves and outstanding views make this stretch particularly enjoyable before we arrive in Ferlach, internationally known for its centuries-old tradition of fine gunsmithing.
Our final kilometres lead us through the sunny Rosental Valley, passing Feistritz and St. Jakob before following the Drau River back to Faak am See.

Tour nella Natura
Un itinerario piacevole e rilassante attraverso la Carinzia centrale e meridionale. Su un percorso di circa 213 km scoprirete tutto il fascino della Carinzia in sella alla vostra moto, tra laghi, castelli, passi di montagna e panorami spettacolari.
Con partenza da Faak am See, il tour costeggia il lago di Ossiach fino a raggiungere Ossiach, celebre sede del “Carinthischer Sommer”, prestigioso festival internazionale dedicato alla musica e alla cultura.
Si prosegue passando accanto al Castello di Glanegg, una delle più grandi fortificazioni storiche della Carinzia, circondato da suggestivi vigneti, per poi attraversare Feldkirchen e raggiungere Sankt Veit an der Glan.
Con il suo incantevole centro storico, Sankt Veit fu capitale della Carinzia fino al 1518. Poco dopo si incontra il maestoso Castello di Hochosterwitz, simbolo della regione e considerato uno dei castelli più spettacolari d’Europa.
Attraversando Brückl si sale lungo una strada panoramica perfettamente asfaltata fino a Diex, situata a 1.159 metri di altitudine. Grazie alle sue circa 2.300 ore di sole all’anno, Diex è considerata il comune più soleggiato dell’Austria. Da qui si gode di una vista straordinaria sull’intera Carinzia.
Dopo la montagna si ritorna nella pianura. Attraverso Haimburg, passando accanto alle rovine del Castello di Heunburg, raggiungiamo Völkermarkt, dove è prevista una sosta per il rifornimento delle moto.
Il percorso continua poi attraverso Eberndorf e Sittersdorf, costeggiando il lago Gösselsdorfer See, fino a Bad Eisenkappel, il comune più meridionale dell’Austria, situato al confine con la Slovenia e rinomato come località termale e climatica.
Da qui entriamo nella suggestiva Gola di Trögern, una spettacolare forra lunga circa tre chilometri, famosa per la sua bellezza paesaggistica e per il particolare interesse geologico.
A sud del monte Hochobir attraversiamo il Passo di Schaidasattel, prima di raggiungere Zell Pfarre, piccolo paese circondato dalle montagne e punto di partenza ideale per numerose escursioni alpine.
Seguendo la panoramica Waidischer Landesstraße, una delle strade preferite dai motociclisti, arriviamo a Ferlach, città famosa in tutto il mondo per la tradizione dei maestri armaioli.
Attraverso la soleggiata Rosental il tour prosegue via Feistritz e Sankt Jakob, costeggiando il fiume Drava, fino a fare ritorno a Faak am See.
Al termine della giornata porterete con voi il ricordo di un itinerario indimenticabile, capace di racchiudere tutta la varietà e la straordinaria bellezza dei paesaggi della Carinzia.
